Politics this week
Dear students,
To get a better idea of the three major political parties in England you may want to read the following analysis by the BBC:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/election_2010/8515961.stm#subject=foreign&col1=conservative&col2=labour&col3=libdem
And has it come to your attention yet that Nick Clegg, leader of the LibDems, is half Dutch. Listen to an interview given by him on the MPs scandal at the NOS website:

No class tomorrow
Dear all,
There will be no class tomorrow morning due to my being ill. I hope and expect to be in on Tuesday and will inform you of this via e-mail.
I will try and keep the computer room an hour longer on Tuesday to catch up on anything that we haven't had time for. Of most importance are your travel plans. I would very much like to have a look at your finalized questionnaires and view your to-do list and any appointments that you have made. Please make sure these two are as final as possible.
Also, please start on your first diary entries. During the first week I showed you the requirements in a document on Sharepoint. You'll have to write a first entry in which you specify a number of learning goals.
I hope to see you Tuesday and I apologize for any inconvenience.
Kind regards,
Syreetha
